The end?

When is the end actually  'the end'? When we lose our loved one? When we fail in our exam? When we lose a client? When  we screw up big time? When we lose a limb? When we die?
All of these instances signify the end to many of us. Why? When i feared i would flunk in my class ten i believed that  my life would end there. I was sure that i will b reprimanded and will b sent to  rear cows just as my parents promised they would make me do. But that was not  the end. My life would continue. I will be rearing cows. That is life too. I would read story books under trees when rearing cows. That is life too. I would work at houses  washing vessels  to earn some extra  money but that is life too.
Then why do we think it is the end when something  happens out of rythm in our life. I feel that it is because  it is the end of life as we have seen others live or as we envisaged ourselves living. We fear the less walked path; we fear the unknown and we believe that  the known evil is better than the unknown devil. It may be an unknown  angel for all we know. Who knows, we may find someone we would love more (and who loves us more). We may enjoy rearing cows amd reading  books under trees in the hot mid day sun. We may get a better job when we get fired for losing a client or may get transfered  to a department we have been  eyeing for since we joined the organisation.
And who knows, there maybe a beautiful  life after death.
Could 'the end' actually 'the beginning'?

If we take any two seconds, there is an infinity between them if we keep breaking it down into milliseconds, microseconds and so on. All beginnings are probably just perceived, and so also for ends. Come to Chennai girl. :)
